• The largest basket available for the balloon volume

• Underloaded. Baskets are loaded one person less than rated for.

Safety :

• Meets all FAA regulations, inspected by certified balloon repair station annually.

• 105,000 cubic feet volume.

• Used for up to 3 passengers (rated for 4 plus pilot)

• If viewed with an imaginative mind the orange and green shapes from 14 carrots, when a child mentioned this the name was changed on the spot

• 130,000 cubic feet volume

• Used for 4 or 5 passengers (rated for 6 plus pilot)

Starburst

One of the greatest obstacles a balloon pilots faces is simply the weight of the equipment. As my ballooning career evolved equipment, balloons, vehicles, everything got bigger and heavier. To simplify things and to make fun recreational flying and training flights more achievable and affordable I sewed together a “cloud hopper” style lightweight experimental balloon under the guidance of my balloon repairman. The fabric of this balloon is lightweight ripstop nylon, and weights just over 100lbs. The entire balloon can fit in the back of my hatchback car, and the greatly reduced weight radically reduces the logistics and workload required for flight drastically making it easier to go for a fun flight if the weather is good.
